Connection Care Ministry

The mission of the Connection Team is to care for and nurture every new believer and every visitor who comes to City Church. We will accomplish this by connecting every person who comes up for prayer to a life group or life group leader so they may get plugged in and stay accountable to a leader. The Consolidation ministry is vital to the G-12 vision, and is the key to “closing the back door” in our church.

Discovery Classes

At the heart of City Church is our Discovery Classes.

Ephesians 4 tells us that it is the job of ministers to train up the saints for the work of the ministry.

City Church offers discipleship courses in which its members can receive foundational Christian training, as well as specific training in a number of areas. Currently there are three 10-week courses that focus on:

1. Foundations of Doctrine & Family

2. Intercession & Vision of G-12 Cell Groups

3. Cell Leadership & Evangelism

All School of Leader courses are open to both members and non-members. Completion of the three courses and church membership are prerequisites to leadership in any ministry of the church. To assist and be involved in ministry only takes a willing heart and willingness to serve.

Life Groups

The purpose of City Church Life Groups are to develop relationships among the people, to have a place for people to call for assistance, questions, or prayer in their own personal lives, as well as a place where you can invite friends, neighbors, family, co-workers, etc. in an intimate, close, “non churchy” setting.

Everyone is encouraged to get connected to a Life Group and get involved in getting to know people at City Church, praying for your neighborhood, and winning our city for Jesus!

The Rooted Student Ministries
 

The Rooted Student Ministries focuses on youth currently in the 6th grade all the way up to age 17. The mission of the Youth Ministry is to raise up radical youth for this generation. The Rooted meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 in the main auditorium. See Pastor Danyel Muolo for details.

Bigg City Children's Ministry

Bigg City is all about mentoring, loving and caring for the children of City Church. Bigg City has a kids dept. that has their own areas for children of all ages. Dawn Quintrell (Bigg City Admnistrator, and Jean Travis assistant are currently overseeing 75+ kids per week. To get involved, Please contact Dawn Quintrell

Young Adults Ministry
Our Young Adults Ministry is designed for 18-25 year olds who may not feel a part of either the youth or the adults.  They meet in life groups and have a special service once a month.  The young adults are taught to be prepared for issues that are relevant to their age group. Neighborhood Outreach Teams
City Church is committed to reaching out into the neighborhoods on a monthly basis. City church is curently involved once a month at Autumn Place apartments. (See Pastor Tim)

City Church Worship Experience
Music is the most powerful influencer of any culture or generation. Our first and foremost motivation is to provide contemporary music that is relevant to this generation.

With a diverse variety of musical styles, the Music Ministries of City Church create an atmosphere of exciting and exuberant praise as well as deep intimate worship. The vision of our Music Ministry is to develop spiritual and skilled musicians in addition to raising up anointed worship leaders.

Kitchen Care Team
Our Passion is to provide breakfast for Sunday mornings in between services. We charge a song for some of the best food in Blue Springs. The Kitchen Team also is responsible for providing food at our 2 main outreaches in Blue Springs. Lastely, The Kitchen Care Team Works overseas the Potato Barn which is at the Blue Springs Fall Fun Fest.
